Luisa Spagnoli SS22

For the Spring/Summer 2022 season, Luisa Spagnoli invites its community of feminine, intrapreneurial
and independent women to embark on a dreamy journey to fascinating lands, warm and vibrant
with an adventurous spirit.

For her first show on the official Milan Fashion Week calendar, the Italian designer and entrepreneur recreates a fascinating New Mexico-style courtyard in the historic Palazzo Isimbardi. Mediterranean suggestions blend with elements of the desert ecosystem in a celebration of Italian heritage that opens
up to international inspirations and atmospheres.

The collection is designed to seduce on the catwalk, but also in the everyday life of real women
with different needs. Fabrics of the highest quality, many of which are certified sustainable, are treated
with special techniques to achieve precious effects. Prints, embroidery and jacquard patterns alternate
in a merry-go-round of refined and feminine elegance, revealing the most authentic spirit of Made in Italy fashion.

The volumes are airy and relaxed, as if to interpret a new need for women to escape from all constraints.
Large silk dresses with deep slits, or cotton Vicky print dresses are cinched at the waist by leather belts
with maxi turquoise buckles. Worn casually with dropped shoulders and left unbuttoned, they reveal seductive corsets, whose precious lingerie-style trimmings are also used in the construction of sinuous organza dresses, enriched with flounces and rendered in a vibrant palette of colours, ranging from marigold yellow to strawberry pink, and a maxi dress in shantung with a bright touch of turquoise.

Lace-trimmed corsets also peep out of masculine shirts worn with indigo-hued denim suits that look
as if they’ve been faded by the sun and knitwear. Ever-present in the Luisa Spagnoli wardrobe, knitwear becomes precious. Knitted with a mesh effect, frayed and jacquard, they have deep necklines or become mini-dresses decorated with graphic motifs or soft tube dresses with tactile textures.

Denim adds an urban and contemporary touch. Five-pocket suits have flared lines that flatter the silhouette, shorts have hyper-feminine cuts and pencil silks reveal sensual front slits.
Masculine-inspired blazers in black, turquoise and sand linen, soft blouses in impalpable linen gauze, jackets with fringes and suede, printed baggy jumpsuits, as well as embroidered chiffon shirts and ruffled dresses with lace details become the cornerstones of a versatile wardrobe made up of bold pieces to mix and match with imagination.

Accessories with a timeless and sophisticated look enhance the personality of each look. Flat sandals
and maxi hobo bags and fringed mobile phone cases for daytime outfits. Soaring heeled sandals with minimal lines and mini shoulder bags, always enriched with fringes, to steal the show after sunset.
