The first beachwear Limited Edition by Calzedonia is inspired by the most exclusive summer destinations and the pied-dans-l’eau looks of the international jet set. Composed of a balconette bra and a high-waisted cropped bottom, embellished with sparkling details along the décolleté́ and the belt. The perfect swimsuit to show off by the pool, on the boat or to amaze even at aperitif time. Sensual triangle plus brief with ties, made brilliant by the ton sur ton glitter applications that enhance the tan and the silhouette. When night falls, from sunset to late at night, these bikinis are perfect for beach aperitifs and cocktail parties, a true passe-partout in black and white to let you see under light blazers. On May 5 Calzedonia will launch the capsule during an exclusive event at Radio Rooftop in Milan, attended by selected guests and some of the most prominent influencers on the fashion scene. Soundtrack of the event will once again be provided by Koraline Studio, with an ad hoc live set played by Caroline Koch, Retsu and Giorgio Assi.
For the occasion, two new versions of the song Sunshine, written with Calzedonia in mind and debuted last summer, have been produced. The first featuring Retsu is dedicated precisely to the capsule; dreamy, refined and sensual, it mixes elements of the Eighties and touches that are more chill out thanks to the presence of an arpeggiator on the bottom and one on the top. The second one, featuring Ivan Jack, is dedicated to the entire swimwear collection. Here we find relaxing atmospheres that wink at deep house music. Reverberated and Mediterranean guitars, thanks to Matteo Rigamonti’s touch, complete the joyful atmosphere of the melody. Both tracks are available on Spotify.
