Stilnovo unveils Torino, the new lamp designed by Japanese designer Shigeaki Asahara, a perfect blend of style, elegance, and versatility, crafted to adapt seamlessly to any setting, from professional to residential environments.
“The story of the Torino lamp is rooted in Japan but has its heart—like mine—right in Turin. Its technical foundation originates in Japan, with the goal of creating a study lamp capable of catering to diverse uses and contexts: suitable for a large architectural studio but equally at home as an accessory in an open space or a desk lamp. The aesthetic inspiration, however, lies in the heart of Turin, particularly in Piazza Vittorio Veneto. Here, orthogonal streets with simple lines and austere decorations converge beyond the Po River, culminating in the Adrianean-style Gran Madre, defined by its rational balance of symmetry and asymmetry. Stilnovo served as the bridge that merged my aesthetic vision with technical expertise, bringing Torino to life.” — Shigeaki Asahara
Perfect for tables, desks, shelves, or wall installations, the lamp stands out for its refined silhouette and articulated arm with an adjustable head featuring a touch dimmer. It can be paired with your choice of a sturdy round base, clamp, or wall bracket. Fully customizable, Torino is available in six finishes, configurable in monochromatic or two-tone combinations.
