October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time dedicated to promoting awareness and the importance of prevention. It’s a reminder of how crucial it is to care for our own health and that of our loved ones.
For this occasion, Calligaris renews its commitment to LILT’s Pink Ribbon Campaign with the Pink Project 2024, an initiative designed to emphasize the importance of prevention and self-care.
The focal point of this project is a pink wool and cashmere blanket, which serves as both a symbol of awareness and a message of prevention. The Pink Project 2024 represents care and love, urging everyone to wrap themselves in protection and support.
To convey this powerful message, Calligaris went beyond simply producing the blanket. They involved women from their own team in an emotional photographic campaign, where they are portrayed alongside their mothers, sisters, daughters, friends, and colleagues. Together, they embody the understanding that prevention is the greatest gift, and the importance of spreading this culture of care.
Each photograph tells a story of deep bonds, mutual protection, and strength. The pink blanket, draped around the women featured, becomes more than just an accessory—it becomes a symbol of love and self-care, encouraging everyone to “wrap themselves in attention” and look after their own health and the wellbeing of those they cherish.
