The capsule collection born from the synergy between Gianni Chiarini and Rodrigo Doxandabarat, two excellences made in Italy and made in Brazil.
When equal values and principles are shared, it is easy to give birth to inspired, stimulating and shared synergies. From these important assumptions comes the new Marcella Limited Edition, a project featuring Gianni Chiarini, a brand synonymous with made-in-Italy quality, and DOTZ, an upcycling, 100% green footwear brand that is all about creating an alternative business, founded in 2017 by Rodrigo Doxandabarat and Anderson Presoto.
Two extremely rich and structured worlds have merged, resulting in a colorful and energetic capsule collection, a testament to unanimous intentions while maintaining their own peculiarities. Collaboration, sustainability and inclusiveness are the foundations in which both brands believe, aware that diversity is synonymous with uniqueness and an invaluable added value. In fact, this is not the first time that the iconic Marcella bag, thanks to its transversal and recognizable shape, has become a perfect canvas for collaborations and special customizations.
The iconic Marcella also in this limited edition, plays with its identity, while remaining true to its DNA and intrinsic qualities: capacity, adaptability and the desire to make every woman unique and special. In this version, it is enriched by Dotz’s cosmopolitan and fully sustainable taste, which treasures an exploratory background, rich in personal and cultural exchanges, breathable in every play of texture, material and color contrast.
From the union of intentions of two excellences, Made in Italy and Made in Brazil, comes a numbered and exclusive limited edition collection characterized by a contemporary and transversal style.
The Marcella Club x DOTZ capsule is made mainly from sustainable materials. The jacquard fabric is Made in Brazil and is made of cotton and recycled PET. The tassels that decorate the products are made by a community of women from Brazil’s favelas who, thanks in part to this project, have regained their smiles. The agro-ecological cotton in the tote bag is produced by small family farmers in the Paraiba region; the hangtag is made in part from materials from recycled household waste.
